Summer Recreation Registration time is upon us! City of Grundy Center offers youth baseball and softball programs to children currently in 1st grade through 6th grade. Schedule for games and practices will be emailed to parents in April. Here is some general information: 1/2 grade teams typically do not travel and scrimmage each other; 3/4 grade boys on Mondays; 3/4 grade girls on Tuesdays, 5/6 grade boys on Wednesdays, 5/6 grade girls on Thursdays. Game times are typically 5:30pm & 7:00pm for six weeks.
Registration will close on March 25, 2025.
City of Grundy Center is searching for a volunteer(s) to help us coordinate this baseball program. This would include working with the City Clerk during this registration process, coordinate teams coaches, practice and game schedules, umpires, etc. Please contact the City Clerk at cityclerk@grundycenter.com or 319.825.6118 if you are interested in helping us out.
